Traditional and Digitally colored and several phrases are from “The Nutcracker Ballet” by Vladmir Vagin. 

Author Notes: the ending is closing up. Last minute fun fact: originally the Mouse king had seven heads but not so much in this story -- each head was split into seven mouse brothers -- the wicked Mouse King, the wise Mouse chief, the stubborn Mouse Sultan, the respectful Mouse Emperor, the kind Big Mouse, the strict Mouse Czar and the Mouse Piper who commanded a traveling army that protected the mouse hole.
